NAEIS Membership

If you are an executive or program staff person employed in the United States by a neighborhood, city, county, state, regional, national, or international ecumenical or interreligious organization – or an ecumenical/interfaith officer of a denomination or faith group – you are invited to join your peers in NAEIS!

Through NAEIS, we develop professionally and as ecumenical and interreligious leaders. Membership is only the beginning; NAEIS provides the means for sharing insights and experiences, and for discovering and relating to colleagues with whom we share common concerns.

What does NAEIS membership mean to individuals?

• Connection with persons who share similar work and interests

• Learning new skills in ecumenical and interreligious leadership

• Support among concerned colleagues

• Networking for sharing resources

• Contacts for coalition building

• Stimulation of new ideas

• Learning from successes and failures of others

• Access to resources for professional development

• Information on placement opportunities

• Establishing relations with other ecumenical and interreligious agencies

We keep in touch through a newsletter, regional meetings, an annual conference held in mid-July each summer, and through the mail, e-mail, phone lines, and telecommunications networks throughout the year.

NAEIS also serves informally as an advocate for the concerns of regional and local ecumenical and interreligious work and as a vehicle for connection with national religious bodies and ecumenical and interreligious agencies. NAEIS facilitates education, training, and action on issues of concern to you and hundreds of colleagues across the nation.

NAEIS is for you. Come join us!
